Ozil fears Mourinho can make Man United great again

Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea last week after a disastrous run of form which saw the champions sink to within a point of the relegation zone before his dismissal.
Despite being sacked by Chelsea for the second time Mourinho has been heavily linked with a number of top European sides, especially Manchester United whose current manager Louis van Gaal is under intense scrutiny, having presided over the club's worst run of form in 17 years.

Ozil, who became an integral part of Mourinho's title-winning Real Madrid side, admits he was shocked to see his old boss struggle at Chelsea but is confident he will be a success in his next job.
“I’m surprised by what happened with José,” he told The Times. “He’s a great manager. I believe that any club he goes to now he will be successful again.
“I know how special he is as a manager. He is a manager who always supports his team and always protects his team. He’s getting the best out of any player. I wish him all the best for the future, and also that he’s healthy and fine.”
